Shorebird migration should be at its peak in mid-August! It is fun as you never quite know what will turn up on any given day. Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Yeast, Semipalmated, Spotted, Solitary, and Pectoral Sandpipers, and perhaps some plovers or Dowitchers are possibilities.
