Holly Garvey is a naturalist, outdoor enthusiast, and volunteer environmental educator with the Lake County Forest Preserves. In pursuit of her MS in Wildlife Conservation and Management, she focused on predator-prey dynamics, ethical conservation, and human-wildlife conflict.

She is most interested in exploring the confluence of management and conservation with environmental education, particularly as it relates to children as the future beneficiaries of the decisions we make today. Holly lives in Antioch on Bluff Lake with her family, where she enjoys viewing ospreys, bald eagles, herons, and pelicans.
