Our Sunday walk takes us to Captain Daniel Wright Forest Preserve, where the Des Plaines River corridor and surrounding woodlands can concentrate an exciting variety of birds during fall migration. We'll explore the preserve with walk leaders Bradley Stein and Matt Tobin and see what's moving through this important inland migration route.
After the walk, stick around for a casual tailgate with fellow birders! We'll have coffee, cider and tailgate snacks waiting. Bring a chair, relax for a while and enjoy some good birding conversation after our morning on the trails.
