🌿 50 Shrubs for 50 Years: A Legacy for Birds 🐦⬛
Celebrate Lake County Audubon Society’s 50th anniversary by helping us plant 50 native shrubs in Highland Park! As part of our Legacy Birdscaping Project, we're creating habitat that will provide food, shelter, and vital resources for birds and other wildlife for generations to come.
We'll be planting pagoda dogwood, elderberry, wild plum, ninebark, American hazelnut, and New Jersey tea. Each species has been selected to support birds and other wildlife throughout the seasons.
