This area of Lakewood is fairly hilly, with the equivalent of walking up and down a sledding hill multiple times.

The walk will begin at the Winter Sports Area Parking Lot, located off Fairfield Rd and across from Ivanhoe Rd. Please follow directions to the pinned location for this parking lot in Google Maps below:

Bring binoculars (if available). We will have a few loaner pairs if you need to borrow one for the walk.
Please dress accordingly for the weather conditions and wear appropriate footwear for walking around 4-5 miles miles on mostly crushed-gravel trails, which include some moderately hilly sections. Bring extra clothing layers in case you need them in the chilly November weather.
The walk duration may extend a bit beyond the scheduled time slot, but feel free to leave at anytime.
In case of inclement weather, the trip leader/coordinator will notify all participants via email.
