Joint Walk with Chicago Ornithological Society 

Our May joint walk with COS was such a success, we're doing it again! Join us at Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve on Saturday, October 25 for a bird walk followed by a social gathering.

Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early - each group will be capped at 10 participants. If you register and realize ahead of time you will not be able to make the walk, please send a text to the trip leader so another spot can be re-opened.

We'll meet in the Cuba Marsh main parking lot, which is located off Cuba Rd. Please use the pinned location below for directions to the parking lot.

We invite participants to stick around for a post-walk social gathering, location TBD.

Bring binoculars (if available).  We will have some loaner pairs on site. 

Please dress accordingly for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for dirt/crushed-gravel trails. With the later October date, please bring along an extra layer for warmth in case it's chilly. A hat will also be a good item to bring along if it's a sunny morning.

There is an outhouse located by the main parking lot.
In case of inclement weather conditions, the trip leaders will notify all participants via email & text. 

Come for the birds and a chance to make new friends along the way!
